This necklace draws its inspiration from Solange’s favourite film, Gladiator, and immerses us in the ancient city of Rome, a place that exudes both sophistication and barbarity. It is within the Colosseum that gladiators waged their fierce battles, and these pieces evoke the strength and unwavering bravery that was so crucial to these fighters. By incorporating leather clasps interwoven with 18 karat gold links, this piece pays homage to antiquity whilst being skilfully reimagined through a contemporary lens.
The necklace boasts a multi-layered woven front, resembling a Roman collar and evokes a sense of protection and armour.
